Away from our desks

When we’re away from our desks, we can be found in yoga sessions, Spanish class or off for an impromptu bowling party or Golf tournament.

CULTURE

Ignited was started because our founder and CEO, Eric Johnson, believed there was a different way to do things. Twelve years later, his dyed-in-the-wool entrepreneurial energy and passion for innovation is steeped in our culture, in work and in everyone who works here.

We don’t hire people just because they have a good book, a solid resume or a nice smile. We hire people who are smart, innovative, collaborative and, perhaps, just a little bit twisted. This is an agency for people who want to rewrite the script, who speak up and want to challenge the very meaning of advertising. Sometimes this means our agency is rather loud. That’s because true passion is hard to keep quiet.

BENEFITS

Besides the standard health-care-PTO-gym-membership-401(k) benefits package, we have a few added-value tricks up our sleeves.

Agency activities include yoga classes, Spanish lessons, ping-pong tournaments, Friday “Shake Shake” happy hours at our upstairs bar, lunchtime soccer games, the occasional karaoke session, movie screenings on our 20-foot HD screen, group trips to Starbucks and ocean-side concepting on the beach. (What? It’s so close it would be a shame not to.)

Our SOFA (Society of Fun Activities) committee plans and executes events throughout the year, like holiday parties, summer beach days, geocaching and leprechaun hunting*.

And for our crème de la crème: our Dreamcatcher program. Designed to support and encourage travel, education and philanthropy, the program matches employee contributions (up to a maximum), which is then applied to any of the above-mentioned categories at the end of the contribution period. (To get a glimpse of some of our Dreamcatcher experiences, click here.)

*No leprechauns were harmed in the making of this website.

OPPORTUNITIES

Are you ready to set the world on fire?

A Roman philosopher once said, “Luck is where the crossroads of opportunity and preparation meet.” At Ignited, it's all about creating your own luck.

The opportunities here are endless, provided you’re willing to step up and take them, or, better yet, make them. We have a diverse roster of clients and a constant thirst for new endeavors. Our ever-evolving capabilities combined with a symbiotic spirit equals opportunity for growth with each project, where we strive to break new ground and alter people’s perceptions – of a brand, a product, an industry convention and, sometimes, even ourselves. This is what we mean by setting the world on the fire. It’s intoxicating, exciting, addictive and extremely rewarding.

While everyone has a specific team and job title, creativity isn’t born from the confines of work pods and job descriptions. A media buyer can brainstorm an online banner; a copywriter can deliver a tech solution; and an account executive can throw out the big idea. Because we don’t work in silos; we work in collaboration.

To paraphrase that Roman philosopher: Luck doesn’t come with an engraved invitation. You’ve got to kick down its door, take a seat at its table and be part of the conversation. Come prepared and be willing to listen, too. (We like firestarters, not assholes.) And before you check out our open positions, ask yourself one very important question: Are you ready to set the world on fire?
